How to Enable and Create Estimate Templates
Access Settings Go to your Settings by clicking on the Gear wheel icon in the top right corner of the dashboard.
Enable Personalization Navigate to Settings > Estimates on the left-hand sidebar. Locate the Enable personalization toggle and click it to the "on" position. This allows the system to generate new estimates using data from the templates you save.
To Save an Existing Estimate as Template
Open a Project Estimate Navigate to a specific project and open the estimate you wish to save. In the top right of the estimate screen, click the Options button.
Save as Template From the Options dropdown menu, select Save as Template.
Configure Template Details A "Save as Template" dialog box will appear.
Enter a name in the Template Name field.
Ensure the checkbox for Including Cost and Price Info is selected. This ensures the system stores specific financial data for future use.
Finalize and Save Click the Save button. The template is now stored in your system.
Access Your Templates To view or manage your saved templates at any time, go to the Projects dropdown in the top navigation bar and select Templates.

Toggle won't stay enabled: If the "Enable personalization" switch reverts to off, ensure you have the necessary administrative permissions to modify global business settings.
Template missing cost data: If a generated estimate is missing pricing, verify that the Including Cost and Price Info box was checked when the original template was saved. You may need to re-save the estimate as a new template with this option enabled.
FAQs
How many templates can I save? You can save multiple templates within your system to account for different project types, such as "Full Home Remodel" or "DIY Remodel," and various project scenarios.
Does saving a template affect the current project estimate? No. Saving an estimate as a template creates a separate reference file. It does not change the data or status of the active estimate you are currently working on.
Where can I see a list of all my templates? All saved templates are centralized in the Projects > Templates section, where you can view their names, types, and estimated totals.
